Mullite Insulating Bricks Category:
Mullite insulation bricks according to the density divided into light and heavy mullite brick, mainly divided according to different temperatures: 1350 mullite, mullite brick 1450, 1550 mullite brick and so on.
Mullite Insulating Bricks Properties and Applications:
Refractoriness higher, up to 1790 ℃ or more. Refractoriness under load at 1600 ~ 1700 ℃. Cold crushing strength 70 ~ 260MPa. Good thermal shock resistance. There sintered mullite and fused mullite brick two kinds. Sintered mullite with bauxite as the main raw material, adding a small amount of clay or raw bauxite as binder, after molding, firing and made. Fused mullite with high bauxite, alumina and refractory clay industry as raw material, adding fine-grained charcoal or coke as a reducing agent, after forming method using the reduction fused to produce. Fused mullite sintered mullite crystals than large, thermal shock resistance than sintered products better. Their performance depends on high alumina content and the mullite phase to the uniformity of the glass. Mainly for the stove roof, blast furnace body and bottom, glass melting furnace regenerators, ceramic sintering furnace, oil cracking system dead lining and so on.
